I am hoping to progress my LPG installation, if the weather dries up a bit. Any recomendations as to where to fit the various bits ?. It looks as if the favourite for the injectors is on top of the valve covers, and there is a fair bit of real estate below the expansion tank which might suit the evaporator and shut off solenoid, but where to fit the ECU ?.

Mine went under the air filter where the levelling pump is on models with wallow-o-matic suspension. ;)
Failing that they can be squeezed in under the scuttle by the cabin filter.

Thanks Kevin, yes that looked possible, but I wanted to see what others had done. There is a lot more space round the 4 pot engine.

mine, as Kevins and others is under the air filter, in the front wing as said. Those that cant afford a levelling system will have an easier life fitting it there. ;D
Free space within range that the loom allows is a little limited. From memory mine would not reach the scuttle area. Have since i had a thought to mount it next to the vapourisor along the wing as you mentioned. But never got round to seeing if it will actually fit there....? Would be a bit drier. Also should be mounted with the plug at the bottom so any water does not run down the loom and into the plug. The ECU has a water tight seal but nout wrong with belt and braces. :-)

Mine is in the scuttle but I would advise against there. I have no pollen filter and the loom is semi crushed where it enters the scuttle.

Thanks guys, I will have a look tomorrow and see. I'll post pics when finished.
( now if I superglued the lot, pipe run inc, on the roof there's a lot more space and no exhaust to get past :y ;D )

There's plenty of space to squeeze it in next to the Self Levelling Pump if the loom is long enough.
TBH, I would think there are better places with a 4 pot as the engine bay has a fair bit more space ::) ::)
