Hello one and all
I promise once ive got MOT on my steed i shall leave you all alone with regards to problem solving lol
My pride and joy is awaiting an MOT retest once the brake lines and handbrake cable is replaced this week but i currently have one last problem to overturn
My ABS & TC Light is intermittant. It turns off once the vehicle is started and the speedo works fine as it should. Then another time she starts and the lights stay on and the speedo doesnt work
Have you got any ideas what this could be?

Are they easy enough to replace?

hI've not done one but I'm sure there is a how to in the maint section - & I know that plenty of people have done it. You can get them refurbed as well.

Access to the ECU is a bit tight but its doable :y

I done mine, not too bad of a job :y

If i get one with the same ecu number will this be a 3 litre one?
-
i think it needs to know if its running a manual or auto though. you really need like for like tbh.

Right okay
Shall get on it then!!
Ive got a replacement one here but havent checked the codes. Will have to see tomorrow. If i havent got one that matches ive got a garage up the road that has Tech 2. Can they reset the ECU?

If for exactly same year/model Tech2 not needed (includes same gearbox), otherwise Tech2 session may be required.
