Title: 2 litre cam cover gasket ??

Ging to change my cam cover gasket as soon as we get a dry day LOL.  has a leak at the rear. any tips or does or donts ?? as i have not change one  for years

You`ll need these
90528438 / O-ring gaskets x 10
55558349 / Cam Cover Gasket x 1
90485251 / Black Cam cover sealant x 1

Thanks for that info.  i have all the gaskets but didnt realise i needed the gasket sealant. does it need to be the black ? or can i use any suitable sealant

Not sure on the sealant thought it came with the bits if there genuine VX parts :-/ Don't forget to clean them breathers or you'll be cganging the gaskets again in a short while :y

is there just the one breather at the rear right hand side of the cover ? i did notice when i squeezed that breather i could see more oil weeping from the cover seal.

As per the guide, there is a block to cover breather at the rear right and then 2 cover to inlet breathers (one pre and one post throttle) on the left of the cam cover.

Follow the breather cleaning gude.
