local dealers got a mig for sale or repairs problems listed are
1/ abs + traction light stays on
2\ oil light comes on after about 3 miles (switched changed)
3\ speedo not working
going to have a look later , how much to fix problems is the engine shot ?
also how much is it worth at present

1) + 3) Most likey ABS ECU failed.
-
Fair bet it will be your ABS ECU that is foobarred.
Do a search on here for threads. I believe there is a maintenance guide too.
Fiddly job to do yourself but costwise DIY using S/H unit off similar car same part number £50 approx. having your own part reconm by return post £125 ish.

W reg, 150K is on the high side, whats the Service history like, condition overall?, when was the Cambelt last done.
TBH, with the faults listed plus the other ones you may find, the rest of the Car would have to be tip top on that milage for me to part with any more than 500, but thats me.

My concern would be the oil light....it sudgests some major wear because as the oil is warming and thinning slightly, the pressure is dropping which hints at bearing and/or a very worn pump!
Could also be a clogegd strainer to.

That's a classified on eGay too.

I would say 300 quid tops.

ABS ECU failed is just over 100 quid refurb job, IIRC.
Engine could well be knackered if it's been driven with low oil pressure. I would have a very careful listen to it for signs of bearing failure.
On the bright side, it will be much easier to change the ABS ECU while you're changing the engine. :P
