Title: 3.0 and 2.5 valve size - are they the same?

do the 3.0 and 2.5 v6's share the same valves? does anyone know if theyre the same size?

Yes, same size (also the same as the 2.2, 2.0 and 1.8 big block engines)....the 3.0 exhaust valves are sodium filled though to improve thermal transfer

as the valves themselves are seated quite deep in the head (when lifter removed) can you recommend a decent compressor for extraction? i was looking at the hellfrauds website for variations and the smaller one is similar to the one i have which doesnt seem to fit... is the larger of the two adequate? or can you recommend something else altogether? thanks again

You need the bigger type.

The smaller type is only really for push rod engines (and even then struggles on the likes of Rover V8's!)
