Do the handels feel like they are trying to open the door or not.
If they are trying then from outside push the door inwards slightly, lift handel and then pull quickly. Or sit inside with a strong shoulder push hard with handel pulled.

If handels sre not trying to open door then I believe it try to get door panel off in situ, not easy but can be done with minor damage to the panel.

On my 94 Omega both front doors got progressively more & more difficult to open (and shut). I developed a knack of pulling/snatching the doorhandle without pulling the door which seemed to work (presumable the latch couldn't release under load)

I assumed that it was wear and that there was no point in trying to fix it but it got too bad to ignore the day that the passenger door came open as I went round a roundabout (in front of a police car) so I had the door cards off both front doors and gave everything a good squirt with mountain bike chain lube.

It was like a new car afterwards  :y (if you used your imagination  ::))
