Lately i have experienced the following problem:
while driving sometimes the yellow engine light comes on, and engine feels jumpy and weak, can not exceed 4500RPM. Occasionaly it helps to rest for 2minutes and start again, engine light is gone and car feels fine.
Today engine stopped while driving with high RPM, and yellow light came on emmediately. However it started again, with yellow light on.
I paperclipped it and the following codes flashed:
0340
0352
0335
Im guessing cam sensor is weak and should be renewed. But what does those other fault codes tell me....??

P0340 Camshaft Sensor Incorrect Signal
P0352 Ignition Coil 2 Incorrect Signal
P0335 Crankshaft Sensor Incorrect Signal
Is it a 4 pot?

X20XEV is a 4 cylinder (pot) :y First port of call would be the cam sensor then get your codes cleared, run it for a while and re-do paperclip test :y

I see, did not know pot ment cyl;) hehe..
I will! But is it likely to belive that the fault will appear more frequently and at the end leave me on the lonesome road with a total breakdown?
And will this eventually do any other harm on the car? I really need the car for daily rutines, and I dont have an opening before the 1st of december.. :(

cam sensor can throw up other cods at same time as engine gose in to limp home mode. do as said and it will be fine. make sure the camsensor is the right one to match ecu.

It will eventually give up and leave you in permanent limp mode until it is replaced. It won't damage anything else, that is why it's in limp mode, to protect the other engine systems :y

Thanks guys! Hope it will hang in there for another three weeks then;)

how ever it will damage your pocket with having to put more fuel in the tank, lol :y

garage are doing exhaust manifold replacement (cracked), possibly EGR replacement and cam sensor replacement next time.. I expect that to add some extra boost;)

it may do abit but 2.0 are not that quick any way, but your economy should go up. still a good engine, :y
