Title: Exhaust pipe worked loose

It's worked loose between where the front pipe goes into the middle part.

Is it easy to slide back into place, or do I need a couple of bolts?

Car sounds like a tractor.

I think they tighten together with a couple of bolts - a quick look under the car should confirm! You could always take it to your local garage and get them to jack it up and put new bolts on. Just don't let them con you into buying a new system!
