Hi Guys
I'm fitting 2.6 manifolds to my 2.5 as one of a few upgrades.
Am I right in thinking I need to use the 2.6 exhaust manifold gaskets, rather than 2.5 ones?
If so, anyone have the part number for said gaskets please?
The part I have here is 24416110 - which I believe is the gasket for 2.5 and 3.0 and hence not suitable?

I wonder why the changed them, the heads are basically the same :-/

I think it's to do with the SAI...

Yes, you need the 2.6/3,2 gaskets....you also need to chop about 5mm off the lip at the top of the front pipe.
Not got a clue about the part number though.
They do flow better and are nicely made!

Yes. I think the lighter manifolds absorb less heat to allow the pre cats to warm up quicker.

Do you think the benefits will be noticable? Would it be beneficial to port the exhaust ports at all, or not?

As per the engine basics, exhaust port porting makes little to no difference as the gases are not pumped.....and compared to the restriction of the bog standard manifolds.....

EPC states these for 2.6/3.2 MANIFOLD,EXHAUST (FOR CYLINDER NOS. 1,3,5) 24422261
18 MANIFOLD,EXHAUST (FOR CYLINDER NOS. 2,4,6) (NLS.) 24422262

I think I'd fit the whole lump

I would not bother, no advantage unless you can get the compression back up.
