Title: fan noise ( rattle)

I have a bit of a problem, the fan noise is worying a bit.
When tha fan kicks in it rattles a lot, don't hear it too much cause I mainly drive on open road and fan almost never kicks in but in town it really sounds awful.
What is the potential problem?
I am guessing some kind of bearing inside the fan.
Any ideas what is also the easiest way of fixing it.
