its the 62032RS - 15-42-13 i cannot find it anywhere! anyone know of a supplier? tia

there is a person in yellow pages near you he dose them, did her's for £45 changed every thing then and there, i will see what his name was but he from your area. :y

62022RSH is the wrong bearing for the alternator on mine, i was lucky that a mate had a draw full of assorted bearings and even more lucky one fitted! my front bearing was grinding bad and the rear had worn down the shaft by over a mil, so that the bearing needed a shim to hold it in place

i read the post about the omega from spain with diffrent bearings and im wondering if they fitted different alternators to a few cars and thats whats causing the confusion??
it took 20mins to remove it(for the second time we ran out of light first time round) and 3 hours plus a call to elite pete to replace the bearings!! ended up putting the car back together in the dark! again! she sounds alot better now the constant grinding noise has gone!!

on the way to work this morning the display had quite a bad flicker, im gonna have to check the earths and test the voltage coming from the alternator! It would be a gutter if i had tol replace it after all the work replacing the bushes and brushes.

Flicker is normaly down to the spring contact that touches onto the brush/reg pack

i might just give it a few hunderd miles cos that was replaced as well! It was a pattern part with no curve on the bottom of the carbon sticks!

Well the brushes should form to the slip rings quite quickly.
Its the metal tag that is on the alternator that tends to need cleaning adn bending, not the plate on the reg pack.

It only takes 40 mins to wip it off and re-fit....

im not sure where your on about is it on the back of the casing or under the black plastic cover? Im not off work again till monday so if its still playing up then i will take it back off!

just measured the bearings i got out of my alternator there
47x17x14
40x17x14 this one needed a shim because of wear on the center bar!
