Is the water in the spare wheel well
-
NO. it's on the first aid/kit side .
-
1st guess sunroof drain pipe runs down the 'C' pillar into a drain on the wheel arch, check it's still connected/not blocked :y
-
check your seems around the rear panel, pour water in the channel that leads to your rear lights and have a look to see if you can see water entering the boot area, best to take the pastic trim off aswell

Thanks all will have a go come morning. :y

Possibly the boot seal mate, even though there are no obvious signs of rips and tears, its steel ribbed, and sometimes distorts allowing water to seep through.Only speaking from past experience with the vectra,as i couldent find where it was coming from, but eventually found that out in the end. :-?

seen it creep past the rear light seals on a few cars!!

Hi .It's sunday and still raining.
The drain tube is in place and not blocked.
All channels free of debris.
Rubber seals not perished, yet can't find any evidence as to where the rain's getting in,did'nt have sign of dampness after washing inthe past.Still raining this area is thought to be one of the least wet /rain wise that is :'( :o

Drop the back seats and climb in the boot with a torch while it's raining, you'll soon find where it's coming in :y

Hallelujah!!!!!!.
It's stop raining so i removed the plastic guard at the rear of the boot and found the leak.
Water was entering through a seam above the bumper where the light cluster ends.
It was seeping through a gap into the boot and soaking the carpet. Fix with Bitumen so hope it holds until i find a better sealant. sandune
