Title: "longlife stainless backbox"
Post by: kingycos2 on 29 November 2009, 19:57:00
Been offered a stainless longlife back box for my 2002 3.2 elite, the back box has come of a 1999 3.0 elite, willit fit straight on to my elite?  ;)

If both are saloons/estates then they should but depends on where the joins were made in the original stainless system - same place as original or an inch or three further back?  Centre sections might be short or over long otherwise...

Hi
What element of the MOT did they fail on? If stainless I assume they did not leak so why did they fail?
