Title: 18" Alloys

Hi
Would genuine 18" vxr snowflake alloys 235/40/18 bolt straight on the Omega without any problems ?

Yes should do with no problems,
I have 18" with the same tyres sizes on
2 of my migs,

Thanks ... i checked the converter thingy and its only about 1.2% diffefence from what i have at the moment ( 225/55/16 )  so i shouldnt have to worry about the speedo etc  :y

Spacers will make then look better as the offset is different

Rim size 8J , offset 39 ..... the place selling them says they wont fit  :-/

yes i think he's got that wrong mate defo have a look in the gallery at some of the other memembers see what you can find like i said sure albetross has them oh have a look at the calendar pics think its one of them. :y

Yeah i saw the calendar pics and thats what convinced me i wanted them .. i understand i may need a spacer although i dont know what size  :y

Not sure about spacer's think you mite only need them to make them look better but i'm sure someone will be of more help than me i want spacers for mine but not sure what size and how to go about finding out but thats gonna have to be well after crimbo now seeing as mine up the wall in fact i'm just going to have a long hard stare at it now. ;D ;D

You will need eibach hubcentric spacers, 15/16mil on front and 20mil on rear. the fronts dont come with the longer nuts, but I have a spare set you can buy, as these are very hard to find. Dont buy cheap spacers as the wheels will just wobble at high speed.

This is mine with 19" snowflakes, before the spacers were fitted.

Yeah i had been looking at those pics before .... you say thats before spacers , looks fine to me without  :y

So just to make sure i dont actually need spacers straight away ... although i will get some eventually if i buy these wheels ... now mine are 18" and yours 19" so will the offset be the same ?  Im terrified of buying these then they turn out to be no good cause they arn't cheap :-/

Just seen the tyre size, Yes they will fit straight on with no problems. The rears will sit quite far into the arch, hence the need for spacers. But they will not catch without spacers.
