Title: Omega 2.5v6 Auto Box & Cruise Control Not Working

Hi Guys, hopefully one of you will be able to tell me whats happened to my omega. I get 'automatic gearbox' on the computer display, but no engine management light.

The lights have gone out on the gearbox display, and cruise control no longer works.

Box changes manually, but not automatically.

Not sure what it could be, but searching on here made me think it might be the throttle position sensor - could this be the problem?

If so - where is it? Any help appreciated.

I also saw some stuff about checking the gearbox oil levels - but because the cruise control doesn't work I thought it might be linked to the throttle sensor.

Have you checked the fuses?

I guess I should have thought of that!

Yes it had blown, but after replacing it, it blew again about 20 minutes later.

Is this a common fault on the auto box?
