Title: Gearstick gaitor replacement
Post by: Omegadoha, Desert Member on 07 December 2009, 06:08:27
Anyone changed the gearstick gaitor on an automatic recently?

I got the top surround off but was fearful of going any further due to possible damage. Do you have to take the entire central console out?

I take it you mean the leather part?

yes the leather surround bit. I was trying to be 'proper' by using the correct technical term.  ;D

Normally I use the word 'doo-daa' for descriptions. ;D

;D ;D well keep your doo-daa to yourself ;D ;D

Pop off the trim with the PRND321 and the leather unclips from that. The tops are elasticated.
