Title: 2.5TD Aux belt
Post by: Shackeng on 08 December 2009, 16:07:03
Any advice on changing the drive belt on my '99 2.5td? Looks to be easier if I lift the rad out :-/.

Thanks

There's no need to lift the rad out. Undo the viscous coupling (lefthand thread) and remove the cowl from the around the rad then there should be plenty of access  :y

Yep as Pete said, I watched him do it ::) and be careful you get the correct belt to replace it. The dealers seem to differ on what size it needs.
