Title: Travelling Omega mechanics?
Post by: The roadrunner on 16 December 2009, 10:08:49
Could any of the boards Omega mechanics, who are local to or can travel to the West Sussex area, give me a shout.

I need the cam covers changing and breathers cleaning on my V6, I've read the guide but am not confident enough to do the job alone.

Cheers

Jim

Why don't the two of you drop Loo Knee a line, i'm sure it'll be worth his while to travel if there's two of you :y

I contacted JamesV6-CDX through this forum a few weeks ago as he is also provides mobile services for Omegas. However he is in the Cheltenham area (130+ miles each way!), but maybe it would be more worth his while to travel down for 2 cars?

There's no harm in dropping both of them a line, a bit of competition never did anyone any harm ;D

Not far way in Worthing, a good idea, it would make it worthwhile for two cars.

Ah, Darth! You must have felt a vibration in the force!

Get loo- knee to do it for you. Then he will be able to bring the parts with him that he,s got for me as he is down this way.Does that sound like an ulterior motive ? :y ::) ;D

I'd be very grateful indeed, if Daz did want to do it....

Djac, If for any reason you're still stuck or can't get one of the others to assist, get in touch again, and we'll see if something can be sorted  :)

Just to say thankyou to RobsieMV6, spent a whole freezing cold afternoon sorting out my miggy, if you need work done or parts, I recommend him, my Elite is running silky smooth and now induces a much bigger grin upon depressing the throttle. ;D

Cheers Robert.
