-
Have you tried pressing the TC button on the dash?
-

-
is your speedo / rev counter ok ?
any weard twitching of the needles ?

From the handbook
Lit during driving:
Fault in TC system. Vehicle can continue to be
driven. Driving stability may be worse if
driving style is not adapted, depending on
acceleration and type of road surface
because of drive wheel spinning.
To have the fault rectified, consult a Vauxhall
Dealership. The system's integral selfdiagnosis
facility allows faults to be quickly
remedied.
I'm guessing a chat with a tech2 is needed here

thanks for that ent :-[ oh well have to book it in i spose

mmmmm .. You are a fair way from Brackley or Nottingham which is where the resident experts with tech2's are ... t'other one is in Hampshire ... so unless you happen to be heading in any of those directions in the near future .... looks like dealer money .. :(
-
you really know how to cheer a bloke up m8 ;D
-
Daft thought .. you have checked all the connections on the wheels ??
At the ABS sensors ???

Wouldn't an ABS sensor fault bring the ABS warning light up first?
-
The abs sensors just detect wheel rotation and send the signals to various ECU's .... ABS, TC, Speedo, Steering etc etc ...
TC operation is simply detected by one wheel rotating faster than the other .. wheel spin ... so I'm just wondering if a quick look at the detectors might save a visit to a dealers .... probably won't ... but might .. :)
