A quick question here .......
How (and where) do you disconnect the clutch hydraulic pipe to remove the gearbox from a 2.5TD?
Never done one - yet!

If it is the same as the V6 there is a quick release coupling on the bulkhead quite close to where the heater hoses go through.
Once you have it apart it is easy to see how it works. With the engine in the way it is well nigh impossible to see how to get the clip out..............

In this picture the male part of the connector is on the end of the flexi hose on the gearbox. The female is just under the top heater hose.

Hi. I've lost the clutch, but the fluid seems to be leaking from somewhere over the gearbox. Does anyone know how the hydraulic clutch pipe/hose is set-up on a left-hand drive V6? There is metal pipe coming from the master cylinder and then it connects to the rubber hose. But reaching the top of the gearbox from under the car, there is also a metal pipe. So apparently the two metal pipes are joined together by rubber hose, which i think is defective. Is there a way to remove that hose without removing the gearbox?
