Upgrade to leather is fine, just make sure you get post 1998 ones with side airbags. Memory functions won't be do-able, but basic leccy movements will work.

Also you don't NEED TO SHOUT when making a thread title  :y

PM one of the breakers, but at a rough guess £100-£150 including door cards

I am sorry if I have caused a row, I did not know about the capitals being offensive.
Please forgive me, as I am new to all this and all I wanted was a price on fitting and purchasing a set of leather seats. Makes me feel bad now as I only been a member a few days and caused a row.
Again, I am terribly terribly sorry for any offence caused

Maybe i dont see the mods making a fool of them selves on a daily basis. and also its there website not yours. People play by your houserules when in your home same thing applys here i guess. But i would stick up for myself and point out what i think is right to any one red or not.

jobsworth. rules and regs grow a pair. from where im sitting i get the impression your a daddy's little rich boy trying to make an impression standing on your own feet. Why dont you join the police and you could be a star student without using that between your ears, just read the books and that will tell you everything you need to know. but in the real world we all know differently

ok so theres a rule about capitols,a new person comes on with single figure post count and thats how you let them know, theres a nicer way of putting it rather than making them think your the boss and telling them off, onhisown must of thought what a lovely reception and a bollocking

Take the leather out fit it to the new car, and break the rest, should make a profit.  :y

No leather in it Tunnie. If there had of been I would of removed it ages ago. Not very keen on the seasonal extremities. Burning arse/freezing arse ::) Just thinking along the lines if the OP could have got the work done cheap + cost of leather = decent motor with known history and service :)

I agree, mine is leather, and would have preferred cloth for the same reason, especially as my seat heating packed up after a year. :( :( :(

Guys, you've kinda hijacked a newbie's post here somewhat.  :-X

Diane, I don't know exactly what your budget is but by my reckoning, you should try and buy as specced up a car as you can in the first place. True, you can transplant leather at a later date. I may have missed what your budget is or what year and type you are looking for but there are a fair few Miggys about and you can afford to be picky. If it were me, I would definitely look for one that has a good long MOT, something that's had cambelts and waterpump done (Or better still, buy cheaper and get one of the many guys on here who know what they are doing to do it for you) I'd also recommend looking for one that's had its wishbones replaced and the idler done too. :y
