Post by: Lazydocker on 18 December 2009, 00:57:41
How are these powered... Relay?

Pump OK, Washer switch working fine but no power activating the pump.

Towards the front of the triangular engine bay fuse/relay box (2nd back?), it's the one with a fuse right next to it. :y

Suppose you have tested for power at the pump? Pump may be shot too.

Don't no about Omega system as I don't have headlight washers, but on others I have seen they don't work unless the headlights are switched on.

Yep... They were working but have stopped... Pump OK but not powering when they're meant to so I reckon it'll be a relay ;) ;)

As you open the fuse box under the bonnet (the triangular one), its near the front and has a fuse holder next to it IIRC.

ha ha, looks like it dosn't it? I must have been in a trance - we both gave similar answers though which was good.

I added headlight washers to my Mig and plugged into the empty relay socket. Worked first time :y

They may well add up completely... I'm thinking I may have removed the fuse at some point (like when doing the LPG conversion) and that's why they're no longer working :-[ :-[ :-[

Do the pictures here help at all ???

No fuse ratings but colours given ... so if you know your fuse rating/colour settings .......  :)  its item 12a and its green ... which I think is 20 amp for some reason !!

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1176542235

apparently green is 30 amp ....

Thanks :y :y :y

Oh... And green is 30A ;) ;) ;)

I've got a very vague recollection that I may have removed the fuse a while back (in the summer) to reduce the washer fluid useage :-X :-X :-[ :-[
