Please help me out I just purchased a used opel omega diesel and it can not start.
The mechanic says there is no communication from the ECU to the engine please advise.

I'm guessing as it's opel it's the 2.5TD version, try the pedal trick in the link below ;)

need a little more info for when the diesel owners come along....

Is it the 24v 2.5TD or 12v?

sounds like immobilisor or key chip is failing to communicate to me???? :y
