Title: Fault code

Have just done the paper clip test.  Amazed I got it to work!!!  Car is showing code 31 - as engine was off, also showed 73.  Looking on the code description this is the mass air flow low voltage.
Does this mean air flow meter is on it was out?  What symptoms would this show when driving car?

When my MAF went the car ran OK except it stalled on trailing throttle and at junctions. very awkward in an auto.

You could check the plug is firmly connected and no wiring harness damage

Thanks for that reply.  That'll explain the odd couple of times the car has stalled at junctions!!
