Please I am in Ghana, I just purchased an Omega B estate diesel and it cranks but doesn't start please help.
The mechanic says it doesn't send signals to the ECU.

2.2 DTi? 2.5 TD 12v or 2.5 TD 24v?

Does the EML light flash continually while it cranks ???

2.0DTi then.
Sorry, I know sod all about that engine :-[

2.0 DTi is a bit of rare beast for us UK Omega owners, only very, very very early ones had that engine, we get the 2.5 BMW lump then 2.2 DTi.
It might be worth going VectraB forums, as they would have more experiance of that engine

Crank sensor?
I doubt it gets cold enough in Ghana for glowplugs to be required.
