can someone tell me what a tax disc is and since im from the US how can i get a calender and things from the shop or is that   a no no for us in the US HA HA

just road tax, payes for the roads to be repair'd. aprat of the DVLA.

Tax Disc or 'Road Fund License' is just one of the many ways that our Government penalizes every car user in the land.  They make us believe that our hard earned cash is used to maintain and improve our road networks, but that's all Government bull-crap.

Road tax is one of the many ways the government bend the driver over every year :(

the upside is tolls are not really used, we 1 small motorway thats toll and a few bridges here and there, but thats it.

Where you pay an annual registration fee and get a valid sticker for your rear license plate we pay an annual road tax fee and get a "tax disc" to put on the windshield showing the expiry date :y
