Title: Braving the cold

Am i mad ?

0.3 deg outside and i just washed the works van  :o

The way i see it..I use it all week,  its like my home for hours, and it desrves to be washed

Job done now and polished inside.. :y

Is that one way of drawing positive attention to your self so as to increase the size of the  Crissy bonus you get off the boss? ::) :y

Agreed had to be an alteriare motive there, lets just hope out works and he gets the extra chrimbo bonus ::)

Not trying to impress anyone as i would be washing the van in the summer too,,Think i would get an all expenses paid holiday in the sun then,  No.  :D

I must admit though,,the boss does like to see the vans washed   ;D ;D ;D

I fully cleaned and polished the interior today. I enjoyed doing it...it really needed it.

On the plus side, I found a patch of rust that wasn't there a few weeks ago...if you can call it a plus. A bit of preventative maintenance coming up.

I washed my Omega today as well. It was a bit nippy mind you, I had to put my sleeveless sweater on to keep me warm.  8-) 8-) 8-)

I adjusted her fanbelt on the Rover to stop annoying the neighbours when she has lights/HRW/fans on. That was bloody cold, and only took 20m...

Changed my plugs and oil today.... using a pit and a nice warm garage!!!!  


Not mine sadly, my Cougar & Cossie owning buddy's garage....  

Meega's running lovely now, did have a slightly uneven tickover and lack of power, a few poor starts too, the plugs have done just under 30k, my advice is get them changed at about 25k, genuine VX....

yesterday done a rebalance with winter tires..

The shop finally succeded..(2nd time)

after I cleaned ICV and changed the gasket+metal block under the EGR..  :)

Cleaned my ICV too, that's probably aided the smoothe tickover too....

I also need one garage ..Mostly I use my mechanic friends garage and tools..But on a crowded saturday the lift become a dream..
