Why did you have to fit a new battery?
I wouldn't worry too much until the new battery has had a good run to get some charge into it.
Be prepared to check that the alternator is charging correctly and that the terminals on all the battery leads and earth leads are in good condition.
[edit]If you have a digital multimeter it wouldn't hurt to check that the voltage was about 12v with the engine off and about 14v with the engine running.
Very occasionally people have had problems with alternators overcharging and damaging batteries and electronic components.[/edit]

I'd wait for the postman to drop that insurance certificate through the door
