Title: Blower current consumption

If I run my heater blower for a while on full speed without the engine running the battery goes flat Does the blower take that much current the battery is quite new

how long did you havthe fan on? ingition was on to get the fan on you are powering the ecu's fuel pump etc.

should not go the flat te quick, check that the battery is charged full, did you charge the battery from new or did you just put on car, as some batterys are half charged when you buy them, other than that alternator may not be charging the battery up properly.
