car has developed a horrible noise from auxillery belt but when sprayed with wd40 it goes for a few mins then comes back i only sprayed the belt no pulleys any ideas i have a spare belt there if it needs changing but how do you change them

Don't spray the belt, in fact, don't spray anything! It's either the belt slipping or, more likely, the tensioner pulley has passed it's sell by date. Turn the nut in the centre of the tensioner pulley (Top left) clockwise to release tension on the belt, slip the belt off and examine the pulley to see if it spins freely with no horrible noises. Replace if necessary (around £30) and put a new belt on, especially now you've sprayed it! You'll have to undo a couple of brackets to be able to fully put the new belt on. Make a note of the route of the belt before you take it off.

The tensioner pulley is available as a separate item to the whole tensioner. About £22 from Vx :y
