Heres an unusual problem
The passenger door light (the small oval one built into the door card) stays on when the door is closed ....but only at half the brightness :o
When the door is opened it comes on fully as usual ....but shut the door again and it wont completely turn off even when the engine is switched off.
Popped the cover off and disconnected one of the wires to the light...the light went out... butat which point the 'Check coolant' warning message appeared on the computer
Checked the coolant...and it was fine
Strange one innit :(
Also the sunroof has a nasty habit of opening itself to the tilt position without warning...not good when it chucking it down with rain and the first thing you notice is when you feel water dripping in
Should I call a priest and get the old girl exorcised or are these common faults?

Swap over one of the door micro switches see if it still happens. As for the sunroof, have a read of this http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1247486519

Sunroof ? Fairly easy solution hopefully.
With the sunroof closed, push the controller in and hold for 2 seconds.
Do the same with the dial in the fully open position and in the tilt position.
Sunroof is now reset.
Had EXACTLY the same problem..reset it...hasn't happened since.

Does the check coolant level message still come on ?,if so the sensor in the header tank may be stuck or faulty.Easy job to replace takes about ten minutes.I hope that helps.
