1st and cheapest (because it's free) thing to try is check that the skuttle drains are clear. Passenger side just under the windscreen is a flap, make sure it's not full of water :y

When you say "press the eco button" .. does the word ECO appear in the dash ???

Selecting ECO (ECO appears in the dash) turns the aircon off, so stops dehumidifying the air, this will increase condensation

ECO OFF .. (no word in the dash) .. air con fully working and dehumidifying.

Do you have "RECIRC" selected ... circle of three little arrows ?? This will increase humidity as you are not allowing fresh air in... so try it OFF (no circle of arrows)

Have you checked the rear air vents ... in the boot, right hand side, behind the "first aid" flap .... make sure there are no cloths or rubish down the bottom blocking the vents. If the vents are blocked then no fresh air again.

HTH

I also had a similar problem and it turned out to be a blocked drain under the nearside scuttle. You wouldn't believe the muck I cleared out. I also changed the pollen filter whilst I was in there...........problem solved

ECO on the dash means air con is OFF so more likely to steam up ... unless vents are blocked, pollen filter blocked/wet, or the scuttle full as said .. :)

For the aircon to run properly, it needs a feed of fresh, dry air in past the pollen filter .. if it doesn''t get this it can't do its job .. :)

few things, when was the pollen filter last changed?

Make sure the scuttle drain is clear, and the vent in the boot. Next time i mists up on Auto, press the A button, wait 5 seconds, then press auto again  :y

Service update applied to problems after power loss or low battery

basically with the system running select through the recirc options pausing at each one ... recirc (3 arrows), autorecirc (3 arrows with an A in) to normal (no arrows)

This was supposed to reset the recirc system if it was out of synch.

Does work, told father tunnie this, his car was steaming up. Worked a treat so i am told  :)
