Title: Omega manual
Post by: alexandjen on 19 December 2007, 21:06:45
As Haynes don't do a manual for a 2001 Omega I was wondering if anyone has bought this from Ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120199668174&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123

If so is it worth buying?

Cheers

I think you'll find that is an old, and probably illegal, copy of a version of the vauxhall TIS.

As to its worth .. you pays your money and takes your choice, site rules do not permit discussion of illegal software....

I could be wrong and it might be legal ....  but I wouldn't bet money on it !!!!  :)

I fully agree with the above... however, if you do buy it and it's illegal you are NOT buying it with that intent and in good faith that it's legitimate....  so, why not go for it..

some of the copies i have heard about are very poor and will not install on Vista machines.

The haynes manual will cover about 80% of the facelifted omega, some of the trim and engines are different, but for the rest it would suffice
