do you have the pumps that pump the water round the matrix, i only ask as i had a look at mine today and found the siezed. They can be taken apart and cleaded with wd40 to free them
-
hi the pumps i only know of the pump on the engine it self plus the matrix is knackered got a split in it water was peeing out everywhere lol but if u can tell me where they are il remove them anyway and do what you said to clean them and then i can put it all back like new
thanks brett

If they are fitted (not on all) then they are just under the expansion tank and over by the battery behind the rad.
-
oh its those i got 1 behind the rad the only thing i got under the expantion tank is the cruise control box i did check that pip when i refillled and that pipe got nice and hot very quickly does that sound normal
thanks

Sounds good, The pump near the rad is to prvent over heating once stopped and switched off.

oh right i wondered what it was there for lol i just rebuilt the engine as headgaskets went and put water into the oil all that now is spot on it. did hold water till matrix broke lol i even took photos of engine in bits and in stages putting back together all cleaned up pistons heads the lot very smooth to drive the only other little prob is the idling is a little lumpy but asoon as u press the throttle its as smooth as u like
thanks

I have a matrix here from a 2001, I keep moving it so it doesn't get damaged.
