hi guys got my new springs from ebay got them off a braker a 2.5 cd prefacelift .so gets my old ones out and i have old and new side buy side and the new ones are about two inches shorter than the old ones his cant be right :question :y :y

If they are shorter they are obviously no use.
Buying used springs from a breaker is never a good thing anyway because neither the breaker nor you know the life they have had or even if they had been changed for incorrect ones previously!
I paid 27 quids each for mine from my local factor, they turned out to be the same ones the dealership would have supplied anyway. With the bit of discount they gave me as a regular customer it came to a straight 50 quids. The ride height is bang on what it should be and as I do a bit of towing I added a pair of rubber donut spring assisters when I fitted them. They are no use though if the springs are already shot.
Do yourself a favour m8, do what I did and give your local factors a chance. They might just surprise you.
Just think of all that wasted time, money and worry you have brought about.
