Title: christ i've fixed it

yep i think i have cured my over heating problem,blocked rad plus the fan switch was nackerd,and to top it all not a leak in sight of oil or water this has to be a first for omega :y

Your 'hooked', everything can be sorted on a Omega, with time, patience and the help of some very experienced people on this 'site' who have assisted me immensely over the years.
The Omega a very under rated GM model, worth looking after if you find a good one.

cheers guys at last i can say i had 1 good day of owning a omega i can now start cleaning it up after all i bought it in november and only now ,finger's,toes crossed have it running ok ,got a new fuel filter to fit and cat back exhaust next week weather permiting  :)

Well done,there is a certain amount of smugness/satisfaction that you get when you have done it yourself and not had to grease the palms of the local stealers. :y

i share your elation, have got 3 cars running sweet this week, ok a massive bill for coil packs from the suppliers, and a lot of swearing, cut hands, and its like "ground hog day" doing all the rocker covers on 3 cars but, like you say above,  "nice cars if looked after and get a good one"

Amen to that, and i'm not mechanically minded but i have tackled some seriously expensive jobs and won

still going good i even started to t cut and polish today and it's looking good slowly well worth the 200 quid i paid and sadly 350 quid so far to get it right'ish well pleased at the mo 8-)
