Title: windows steaming up?
Post by: dieseld4 on 07 February 2010, 20:09:58
I've had a few 2.5td's and nearly all of them steamed up badly in cold weather.
I've changed the panel filter and all dirt below it where the drian hole is, I've also checked for damp  inside the car, all seems ok. Does anyone know how solve this problem

It's the climate that causes it. Below 5 deg C the aircon doesn't come on so no de-humidification.

Ive just experienced the same problem, looked at the usual suspects - all clear. Traced to a leaking windscreen seal passenger side bottom. Starting to delaminate... damp carpet so its a fair bit getting in.

Going to airblast the area and put some Captain Colleys Creeping Crack Cure in.

If you dont know what that is - you've led a sheltered life   ::)
