Hi everyone,
I have a Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 on a 1996 N reg. Over the past couple of days the onboard computer which displays outside temp, stopwatch, fuel consumption, range etc is staying on even though the key has been removed from the ignition. This is resulting in my battery being drained, and having to use a booster pack to jump start the car.
Any ideas as to what the problem is ????. Could it be a simple case of replacing a relay ???. If so where would I find it ???.
The actual display unit has broken letters and numbers, so I don't know whether I should kill 2 birds with one stone, and relace the whole unit with a second hand one anyway, but don't want to do this if the problem is somewhere else ????.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Just a wild thought, if with ignition off you push one of the 2 buttons the display lights up to show you time, it does this for 10 seconds or so.
So do the two buttons do what they are supposed to do or is one of them stuck in.
Just a thought.
