Title: Questions about cooling
Post by: steveas77 on 12 February 2010, 05:53:22
Very recently bought 2001 omega cdx 2.6 v6 and just wondering is it the "norm" that the water coolant in the tank remains cold? even though the temp gauge in car seems to be a constant 85-90  im wondering if there is a air bubble in the system as the car internal heater only ever blows cold even on HI heat,  help and diagrams pls if anyone has an idea what it could be... did notice about flushing the heater matrix but wanted to know about the *air bubble* possibility and a cure?

thanks to all in advance

Steve

There should be flow through the small pipe that enters the top of the tank from the throttle body when hot. I would check that this is not blocked.
