Just a quick question what year was the 2.6 engine introduced on the Omega ?
-
2001
-
indeed, although you can have the facelift body on 2000 cars, they still use the pre-facelift engines, the newer engines weren't introduced till 2001
-
2.6 & 3.2 not introduced until 2001, 2.2 was available from 2000.
2.0/2.5V6/3.0V6 & 2.5TD dropped in 2001, 2.5TD was replaced by 2.2 DTi

Not seen a W plate 2.2 yet, only 2.0's? :-/
Mines a X registered in November 2000

Was offered a 2.2 estate couple of years back on a "V" plate.

Stand corrected :y

And 2.2`s registered in 2000 carried either a W or X depending on actual registration date. The 2.2 lump was introduced circa Sept/Oct `99 :y
-
earlier than i thought! :y
-
should add both engines were available during that time as you can get X plate with either 2.0 or 2.2

Yep. The silver one I broke was one of the last 2.0ltr facelifts registered on an X
