Hi,
I believe the Omega uses 10W/30 semi synth oil is this right?
Was wondering about Chevron 5W/30 fully synth. This is available in 25 litre drums from Costco quite reasonably. I've used this many times on all of my Jap stuff in the past and its fine. Both the better half's Rav4 and Son's Rover 75 V6 should be ok to run this stuff but was wondering if my 2.2 Omega would be ok with it. One drum fits all you might say.
Any thoughts?

5w30, 10w30, 10w40 etc. oil will all be fine. (10w40 semi synth is the usual GM oil although they do a fully synth 5w30).
Check out the deal on 20l of GM oil at the dealers with a trade club card though. It will probably be much cheaper than Costco.
IIRC semi synth is about 35 quid for 20l and fully synth around 50 quid.

10W40 Vx Semi synth is what virtually everyone on here uses and recommends.
205l drum for £205 or 20l for £32.67 (all TC prices)
