I was advised last time my car was serviced was that a rear spring was broken. I have heard of this before so was not alarmed in any way. I was told it will need doing for the MOT. I have tried looking online for prices and can find springs for cars without self levelling suspension. I went to my stealer yesterday to check, there are 19 tyles listed which he managed to filter down by chassis number and model. He said the EPC was not showing an ident for the typr i require. Not sure if they are identified by pain colours or a sticker with a letter code on. The short and sweet is Vauxhall only sell them in pairs and they are £290.00 retail plus vat.
I am not sure if its me or what but how can there be so amy types listed, and typically mine be the tyoe without an ident?
If anyone else has managed to source cheaper springs can they please let me know where they got them please?
I also priced up wishbones, they are £224.00 each plus vat. Can source Lemforder ones locally for about £90+vat.
Rear subframe mounting bushes are now £44.75 each plus vat. sure i paid about £37 last time a car needed them.
All good fun.

Springs... I fitted the only ones listed for the Onega (not self levelling) from Boge and they've been fine.
Wishbones... Lemforder are fine, they were the OE supplier :y
Dunno about rear Subframe bushes as I haven't had to replace them ::) ::)

Have used Boge myself too - no problems at all.
Many outlets stock 'em too - so good availability and value.

springs - try KYB - see http://www.kyb-europe.com/catalogue.asp I think you need RJ 6227 for self levelling.
you need to find a KYB stockist. Try www.buypartsby.co.uk or you may be able to get them from atozautoparts in central Brum Emily street.
I think they stock lemforder as well

Thanks for replies, Car Spares is near me. They are listed as a KYB stockist so i will pop along and ask them. Just looks like the bushes will have to be got through my stealer then.
Thanks fo the replies :y

items such as springs, wishbones and ht leads are massively expensive for some reason, kyb springs have been recomended many times and i have just fitted a pair this weekend. The above part number looks familiar it can be confirmed in the fitting guide in maintenace section, pic shows the number, just.
Lemforder wishbones seem to be the only reliable recomendation, follow the correct torquing procedure wheels loaded/car on the ground.
Lemforder also do rear donut bushes, guide also mentions part numbers i believe, courtesy of Jimbob.
Autovaux are ok just make sure you specify lemforder and thats what you recieve. oofers get a discount i believe. hth.

ps springs are sold in pairs for good reason, car will be lopsided other wise
