Title: Google earth coordinates

For those familiar with google earth here are the coordinates (copy and paste the coordinates in the fly to textbox )

Ankara-My home 39 58 14 N 32 43 47 E
 
Hoping also other members will give their home coordinates for I see in Google  


ölüdeniz 36 32 59 N 29 06 46 E
antalya-aksu 36 51 12 N 30 47 24 E

They've taken new pictures of my area, but still a few years old. I'm now going to waste the rest of the day looking for clues as to when they were taken.  ;)

Thanks, I add a place holder in your Name in Google Earth ..Really practical..As I see you are in south England and very close to seashore  ;)  :y

I think the furthest you can be from the sea in the UK is only about 65/70 miles.

I think the furthest you can be from the sea in the UK is only about 65/70 miles.

you are lucky here you can be even 700 kms far :'(

here is my job  39°54'54.26"N  32°49'4.41"E

Furthest place from the sea is here... 70 miles (113km) from the "sea" (well, mean low water line at The Wash in Lincolnshire)
 
Latitude: 52º 43.6'N
Longitude: 1º 37.2'W

Church Flatts Farm, Coton In The Elms, Derbyshire.

Really I see the trailers..That software is amazing..

Where I like to spend my spare time. Actually, the previous picture had about 30 or 40 gliders in 2 neat rows waiting to take off. There are a few lurking on this one if you look carefully..

Well, it hasn't been RAF since about 1947...

The perspective actually isn't bad on that picture. It's quite a familiar sight from that angle.

One of those long, thin white things in the bottom, right corner is a trailer with my glider in. As you can see, there are quite a few based at Lasham! The light coloured line in the grass that runs along the airfield almost but not quite parallel to the main runway is where the winch launching cables have been pulled out. Can't see the winch at the far end. Maybe it's early or late in the day. Winch is quite an interesting LPG project. 8.2 litre Chevy with mixer LPG system and no petrol system, all mounted on the back of a Bedford 4 ton truck. It's fun on a cold morning!

birds eye view is really nice..I have only the free version of goog.earth may be the other is better..
