just changed pads all round and both front discs, the brakes were very good and firm before but now they are very spongy and the pedal creeps down as it is pressed for a few seconds, it does feel like there is air in the system but i never undid the hoses and like i mentioned there were very good before just needed replacing.
any ideas???
cheers

Just try opening each side front bleed nipple when pressing brake pedal and pushing a bit of fluid through to get pads moving properly. Then fill reservoir back up..if that doesn,t have any positive effect may be best to give entire system a good flush through and full bleed....you want good brakes on a heavy car like an Omega.

will give them a few days to bed in but will prob go down the bleeding route if they arnt any better, what i cant get my head round is they were really firm and pulled the car up great before i put new ones on, do you think by pushing the pistons back in the fluid may of done something the the seals in the master cylinder?
