when you say died did the engine stop running or did you loose power from the engine to gearbox

I am not as knowledgeable as others on here but I doubt it as mine ran ok and just ok, when i repaperclipt it, I have no doubt that a new / or just a battery giving more than 5v will allow my tractor to run ok again Even with the same fault code. Did other fault codes come up if so what. I also notice on mine that the fuel gage its not very accurate so wondering as you stated fuel problem have you much in the tank?

Title: prime pump td
Post by: raywilb on 24 February 2010, 11:52:27
its the third time this has happened. i seem to drive about 300mtrs and it just dies on me. i cleaned lift pump & swirl pot out last time ( about 3 weeks ago) & its been ok since. is there a relay for the pump. the fuse is ok, but if i,m reading the fuse chart right the front seat adjustment are on the same fuse & the are not working. :-/

thats why i keep mine full(ish) same with my truck.
just had a mad brainwave have you checked the drain plug on the bottom of the fuel filter it could be slack and drawing air
