changed battery in the key fob and all lights up as normal but car wont lock or open boot lid either> any ideas people?

think some one said have to put key in ingnition and press button on key. think.

Hmmmm not heard of that one but i shall try it..

think they said it resets the systerm to the key, then key work on locks.

is it just a case of putting key in ignition? do i turn it till ignition lights come on?

think the lights have to come on, but not sure.

Well peel my spuds it bloody works ... I cant beleive that did it ... thak you very much indeed. I have the same problem on my wifes Corsa so I'm going to try that on that now... well I'll be jiggered..

All i need now is a cheap magic cure for some rather nasty scratches on all 4 doors done by some little bastards on Friday and I really will wet myself with glee..

colour match scratch remover, get at any good car spares. £4. or T-cut. :y

I think the scratches maybe too deep to use that stuff I think as they have all been keyed

use that one then match it to your colour, come with 2 bottles one to remove scratches and one to seal. did good on my old car when it got keyed, :y
