Post by: sess on 23 February 2010, 22:42:14

Now then Sessmeister! ;)
Sorry, can't help, but did you get the yellow filter out? Easy enough?

I know there are different types of computer thing, mine's different to the Elite's - I guess the plug is different and you might need to replace a like for like?

hi pedro, thought i had got it out easily....until i plugged it back in and the pixels were missing lol
however now its out you can see through to the bulbs so it needs some sort of filter there to hide them!...wished i'd not bothered lol

Right.

A grey plugged MID will fit, BUT is very likely it will need reprogramming to be suitable for your car.  If its still part readable, press S and R for 3s, and note the 3 numbers.

One is a s/w version - be a low number like 003.
Another is pulses per km - around 24000
other is config - normally in the 040-074 range

The config code and the pulses per km must match, else it needs a chat with a tech2.  s/w version doesn't matter.

And all that, just to announce you are a ladyboy :P

Oh, and plenty of those grey plugged ones around, as they never go wrong.  Try Darth Loo-knee etc
