Title: Engine Light On!!

Right I have had this problem for over 3 weeks.

When I start the car from Cold I get the following engine light on for a few minutes or seconds if I give the car a run or rev above 3000rpm

When I allow it to glow up this light goes out, then after start up comes on after 3 seconds.

(Bottom light is hand-brake)

It is on a 2003 2.2dti. (Only 40,200ish miles on clock)

I just had a friend around who works for the RAC and he plugged in the diagnostic Laptop and it is showing up one fault code...

P1635 - Glow plug overtime.

The thing is the glow plug light lights up fine and the car starts with ease when cold, what could be the fault??
Could I have a faulty glow-plug or timer curcuit?

have you tried to replace the relay for the glow plugs?

Where is that located exactly?

I may try that first
