My windows were a bit huffed up earlier and not clearing esp on back window. Thinking that was odd, I opened the boot and its a bit damp at rear and behind the first aid flap thingy on the right. Looks a fairly simple removal of black plastic trim.What am I gonna find behind there? Except water obviously ::) This ain't the sort of weather either to be drying out boot trim >:(

take the wheel off and remove the plastic wheel arch off, could be anthing from a hole to the sun roof drain, some times the seal can go so it might just need re-sealing.

you will probaly find the rubber round your boot as gone?give it a look .hope it helps :y

Gonna look this weekend. It's not so much inside the wheel arch, but the plastic trim at knee level running from left to right where the boot lid catch inside the boot is.That said, you know what leaks are like, could be from anywhere! ::)

As an update, my boot is now dry :D Traced the leak to a hole. At some point in my cars history it had been whacked on the o/s rear. All repaired except just above the bumper where 3 areas of fitment come together. Not done properly and water was running off backwindow,bootlid and just before the bumper it was coming in slightly. Fixed!!! :y

Nice one ... :y :y :y just make sure that everything is "rust proofed" ... damp can get into funny places and start corrosion some time later .. :(

I was going to charge admission to my boot as there was a big old swimming pool where the spare wheel is :oNo wonder I had steamy windows, not had them since my youth ;D All dried out now and a bit of rusty crust has been sorted and proofed. ;)
