Title: more misfire codes..
Post by: Squatch on 16 March 2010, 15:20:11
I've been reading quite a few miss fire stories on here - now it's my turn! Done lots recently - new clutch in plus brake pads and full oils and filters etc. But now have 0300 and 0306 - self explanatory one might think - coil packs and plugs need doing. The weird thing is though - there is no sensation of any missfire that l can detect. Is there anything else l should be checking?

clear code, if it returns wip the coil pack out pas side, pot 6 at the back. Change plugs and examine the coil pack for damage or cracks also splits or damage to the rubber boots, any oil in plug wells? But sounds like you know all that tbh...?

Cheers! Good advice - reckon water might have got in and knackered the back of the pack over 6 cylinder. Will have a good look at weekend :y
